Spring Card Projects

Can't believe in two days it will be June! Honestly, where did the year go? Sometimes it seems like I have no time to craft, and then I look through my stash and realize I've made quite a few things. So, today I'm sharing the most recent cards I have made.
First off is a flamingo card made from SVG Cuts Summer Holiday SVG Kit. Mary did an amazing job making this adorable pattern. I printed all of the papers from digi downloads. Loving the new wide format printer.
Also loving this shirt card, which is perfect for Father's Day. The print on the Hawaiian shirt was a scan of my husband's favorite shirt. I used it on his gift last year also. These are the easiest cards you will ever make. They can be made in a flash. I found some cute button brads at Michael's (got the idea to use the buttons from Brigit at Brigit Scraps), and inked them light blue. The other shirt's buttons were done with the irock tool.
The pattern for this shirt card is in the same kit as the flamingo card, the Summer Holiday SVG Kit. This kit also had a darling suitcase, a train case and a boat shoe.

Next I made two cards, one for Mother's Day and one for a friend who lost a loved one. The embellishments were made from cardstock, but I cut four layers and glued them together, so they worked like chipboard elements. I love the warm colors.

I used "Mum" on the card because my mother-in-law is from England. The "Mum" wording is a free cut file from SVG Cuts. You can find it here. They have hundreds of free files!

Lastly, I made a couple of theme cards for some teens that were in The Little Mermaid musical. These cards were from SVG Cuts' Wet N Wild SVG Kit. The ship came from the Our Thanksgiving Gathering SVG Collection.  I used the round Epiphany craft embellishments for the bubbles, as well as the scallop one for one of the shells. Again, I used mostly digital paper.
Thanks for taking the time to browse!

Have A Great Summer!
